The local co-op store is supporting non-profit organizations by sponsoring a BBQ.
The BBQ will be outside their store located at 5010 48a Ave, Camrose, AB.
Grilled hamburgers will be on sale starting from $5.00.

Adult Grief Support Group (8 wks) Sept. 16 to Nov. 4 (from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.)
Who: Those who are 18+ and dealing with a lost through death of someone.
When: Sept. 16 to Nov. 4, 2026 every Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
What will you learn:
- Understand the facets of grief.
- Recognize the grief journey is different for every single person
- Additional resource to use in comping with grief.

We will place your name on a list of whichever support group you need. When there are enough participants to run the group, we will contact you.

We meet at our office on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. After a walk close to the lake, as you are able, everyone can contribute to the conversation while having a cup of coffee or tea.

Oktoberfest in Heisler, AB on Oct. 24 5:30 p.m.
The Hospice Society of Camrose and District is fundraising for the counselling service through an event in Heisler, AB.
Oktoberfest
Join us for an enjoyable evening of entertainment, featuring Ben Crane and Jessica Oracheski. For food, we will have Heisler sausage, buns, mashed potatoes, coleslaw and desserts. Pay for drinks: wine and local beer.
We will have a live auction.
Tickets are $35.00 per person. There is a limited number of tickets.
The event will be held at the Heisler Community Culture Centre.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and dinner is at 6:00 p.m.
