Come walk with us. We meet at 9:30 a.m. in the Recreation Centre to walk and then to discuss the thought for the day.

Intro. to Grief Jan 9 (4-6p.m.) & Jan 23 (10 to noon).
This two-hour session is limited to 4 or 5 people. Grief and morning beginnings, along with reactions and more, are discussed. After this session, each person's case will be assessed to see how we can serve you through this time.

Profession Suicide and Traumatic Grief Workshop Wed. Jan 29th
Are you working with individuals in a professional capacity who have experienced a suicide or traumatic death of someone they care about? You are invited to join the Hospice Society of Camrose & District to learn more about supporting these individuals at the time of loss & beyond. Some of the topics that will be covered are:
- Understanding the basics of grief & mourning
- Understanding the unique nature of traumatic & suicide grief
- Holding space for those that are grieving
- What to say vs. what not to say
- Compassion Fatigue/Vicarious Trauma/Burnout
If you are not working in a professional capacity but you are supporting a friend through their traumatic or suicide grief you are welcome to join us
When? Jan. 29th from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Minimum: Eight participants to run this session.
